What is INKthentic?

INKthentic is a storytelling experience created to celebrate the bold, beautiful, tattooed women of the Pacific Northwest.

At its core, it’s a photographic project + community celebration — bringing together women who wear their stories on their skin and aren’t afraid to show up as their authentic selves.

Each participant is photographed in a personalized, guided session designed to highlight their ink and the story behind it. Their portraits — and the powerful narratives they represent — will be featured in both:

🖼️ A live pop-up gallery event at Wine Me Up in Issaquah, WA this October

Why I Created INKthentic

Hi, I’m Christina — a professional photographer based in the beautiful Snoqualmie Valley, WA.

Like so many women, my tattoos have marked moments of transformation — reminders of growth, healing, and identity. They’ve helped me reclaim my body, my story, and my strength.

But more and more, I’ve noticed how much we, as women, are missing true connection, celebration, and spaces where we can just be. Spaces where we can be raw, expressive, powerful — without explanation.

That’s why I created INKthentic.

This project is about more than just beautiful portraits — it’s about bringing together tattooed babes across the Pacific Northwest to share a piece of their story in a space that honors it. Each person who joins will be featured in Inkthentic Magazine, alongside spotlights on some incredible local tattoo artists who are shaping our culture through their work.

To celebrate, we’ll gather in person this October for a live pop-up gallery event at Wine ME Up in Issaquah, WA — a night to connect, raise a glass, and celebrate every story, every scar, every piece of ink that made us who we are.
